Wendy, Primary Pet Keepers Boarding Kennel Greeter

Wendy has worked at Pet Keepers since March 29, 2000.  A native of Charleston, SC her greatest love in life, besides her husband of fifteen years, has always been animals.  Though she has a great affection for cats her husband’s allergies prevent her from having them as pets.  Luckily working at Pet Keepers has enabled Wendy to still get her cat “fix”.  At present time her children consist of two mixed-breed dogs, Squeedunk and Boca, as well as two guinea pigs, Daniel and Anise.

Matt Pet Keepers Kennel Supervisor

Matt came from the Midwest, Indiana to be precise. He arrived in Mount Pleasant in 2002 and came to work for Pet Keepers in the middle of 2003. He is our HydroSurge bathing magician. The pets he bathes shine after his brush out. Camille is his Lab mix and LOVES lights, particularly laser lights. As to tug-of-war, we think Matt is considering entering Camille into competition.

Emily, Pet Keepers Kennel Supervisor

 Emily was born and raised in Charleston, SC and currently lives in Mount Pleasant. One of four children, she and her twin brother wanted a cat growing up; however, the phrase “cats are nasty, you don’t like cats” was the refrain repeated at their house. Emily’s grandfather had bred and shown dogs at prestigious dog shows and eventually became a judge, thus a dog was what her dad saw fit for the family. Post college, Emily finds herself primarily a dog lover, but there remains in her heart a soft spot for the cat that she never had. Emily has worked at Pet Keepers for three years and has two small mixed breeds (Ethel and Lucy) at home.
